LO4: Finalise production materials for promotional video idea.

 Offline edit for music video

For my promotional video, what i plan on improving is the visual quality of the video, along with slowing down parts of the video. The reason why i want to do this is because i have a limited amount of footage that will either need looping or slowing down to ensure the video is going to fit within the timescale that is required. Also, i will create moving images for the video, as having my mate actually get ran over by a bus would not down well legally. I will do this by finding a free downloadable image, and then use adobe animate to create a moving image.

Enhancing your edit for final draft

At the start of the music video, i added an introduction, as the build up to the song allowed me to add in the title of the song, with the people who are in it. It also adds more detail to the video, as the viewers, wont have to do any looking up to find any other additional information.
For the end of the music video, i added a recording crash to the end of the video, to give it a non-serious vibe towards it as the rest of the video is not a serious song. For example, the sentence i added to the bottom of the filter i used the words "No human or bus was hurt in this video", the reason why i wanted to add this, was to add a comedic side towards to the video. I also had to go find a sound that would match the filter right at the end so the silence is not there.

For the audio and sound of the music video, i try and have the best sound quality possible for the music video. The sound that i use for the music video is all raw and made by me, by sampling beats together.

The sounds being shown here, are the samples and the loops that were made on bandlab, the reason why i used bandlab to create the music for my video, is because it is easily accessible and copy right free, allowing me to use and change the pitches of the sound however i want.

For the moving image, i used Adobe Animate, where i began creating different frames for the moving image, along with having to remove the background of the bus to try and make it fit in within the video.

For the video, i changed the preset to 4k high quality, to try and get the best out of the video possible. However, the downside of doing this would make the file size much bigger making the download speed much longer. The video itself features no filters, as i decided to keep it all raw footage, as i saw no need to be adding any additional special effects to the video, due to it only being set in one area outside.

Improvements based on feedback

On the first set of improvements, i changed the tempo on the audio by making it louder. By doing this the audience watching the music video, will be able to hear the lyrics and music more clearly.
