Evidence of editing 2

The photos shown here, are the tracks and audio recordings of the song. The app that was used that Soundcloud, as the app has good copyright free samples that we could use to create the music being used, to then add our sound recording into the video. The app was used on the free version, so it shows that not even with the full version of the app, we still managed to create a song to a good standard, with the quality, that was agreed was suitable for the song.

The image here, shows me at the location, recording the video. The item of clothing used here was to look like a dodgy person, as in the video I do beat Chris up twice. The reason why we picked this area, is because it is a quiet area, with not a lot of people walking by which made recording easier.

The screenshot here shows the editing stage of the music video. From what we can see is the audio that is being used for the music video, along with the clip itself. Also, it also shows the cutouts on the video and the stretch of the duration of the videos along with the clips being made longer or shorter, through time durations or the use of cutting scenes out.

LO3: Production Materials

 Behind the scenes

Camera/equipment explanation

The equipment that was used for the music video, was  a camera and I tripod. The reason why I used the tripod at times during the vide, was to stabilise the camera at certain heights, as for one of the scenes it required both me and Chris, so the tripod was useful enough to capture a scene with me and Chris. However, next time I would use a different tripod as the one I used was more for taking Photographs.

The camera has a built in mic and movie mode, meaning I could use the camera to capture photos and record. Not only does this save me from carrying a lot of stuff, but it also allowed me to get the recording done faster.

Following Pre-Production Documents

I followed my storyboard as close as I could. The only scene that I changed was the first scene and the last scene, we got to filming and it was too time consuming and complicated so I made it more simple. As I was filming outside, I wanted to follow my risk assessment as much as possible such as making sure there was enough room for equipment, cast and crew such as avoiding narrow paths, as this would have been unsafe for my crew. However, comparing the images to my story board there are some similarities in the way my equipment was set up, as the camera angles were correct along with layout overall. This benefits my music video, as no pre production documents would need changing which would save me time.

Legal Constraints and Risks

The biggest legal constraint I had to consider for my music video was copy right (permission below from client). Now that I have evidence of permission, I can avoid any legal action being brought against me. As stated above, to prevent any risks during filming I followed my risk assessment so that my cast and crew were safe.
Above is the link that has the paperwork in, that shows my consideration of risks on my shoot.

Codes and Conventions

In order to make my music video a comedy, I recorded footage of my client rolling around on the floor in some scenes, along with falling over in some scenes too, to carry on adding the comedic effect to my video. The reason why doing these actions are important, is because it needs to link with the lyrics of the video. Next, I will edit in a bus running over my client, as in the raw footage the music video just shows him randomly jumping backwards. By combining all of this together they should all create the comedic atmosphere that I planned on creating for my music video.
